Scene ID

Terms of Use

Last updated November 4, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Scene ID app and website. By using Scene ID, you agree to them.

Using Scene ID

Scene ID helps you identify movies and TV shows from short clips. Use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and only record screens and audio you're allowed to. Don't use Scene ID to break the law, overload or interfere with the service, or try to access other people's accounts.

Your account

You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep access to your email, phone or Google account secure, and tell us at hello@sceneid.app if you think someone else has used it.

Results

Identifications are made by AI and may be wrong. Confidence labels are our best estimate, not a guarantee. Streaming availability and other film details come from third parties and can change without notice.

Third-party services

Scene ID links to services such as IMDb, TMDB and streaming apps. We don't control them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause or end features, including free limits, at any time. We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we'll let you know in the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Scene ID and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Disclaimer and liability

Scene ID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Scene ID is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
